Terms of service
This is the agreement between you and us when you use StoreLenz. We have tried to write it in plain English. Where something is still being decided, you will see a marker instead of a guess.

1. Who this agreement is with
StoreLenz is run by Pintoflow, a company registered in Portugal with company registration number 516482696. In these terms, "we", "us" and "StoreLenz" mean that company, and "you" means the person or business using the service.
If you are agreeing to these terms for a company, you are confirming that you are allowed to do so on its behalf.
By making an account or using the service, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.
2. What StoreLenz does, and where its information comes from
StoreLenz looks at online shops that anyone can visit, and tells you when something about them changes. You give us the web address of a shop; we read the pages, product lists and other files that shop publishes openly, and we keep a record of what we saw so we can tell you what is different the next time we look.
We only read what a shop makes public. We never sign in to anyone's shop, we never ask you for a shop's password or keys, we do not install anything in a shop, and we have no access to any shop's orders, customers or payment records.
We look at a shop about as often as your plan allows, and we follow the ordinary rules of the web while doing it, including a site's robots.txt file.
StoreLenz is being built, and parts of it are still being finished. We may add, change or remove features. If we remove something you rely on, we will tell you by email before we do.
3. Estimates are estimates
Some of what StoreLenz shows you is measured: a price that changed, a product that appeared, an app that was added. Some of it is estimated: how much traffic a shop gets, and roughly how much it might be selling.
Estimates are always shown as a range with a confidence label, never as a single exact figure. They are worked out from public information. They are not anyone's real accounts, and they may be wrong. Please do not use them on their own to decide something important, such as buying a business or lending money.
We give you the service as it is. We do not promise that it will always be available, that it will always be correct, or that it will suit a particular purpose of yours.
4. Your account
You need an account to use StoreLenz. Keep your password to yourself, and tell us straight away at info@pintoflow.com if you think someone else has got into your account.
You are responsible for what happens under your account, including anything done by people you invite to it on a plan that allows more than one person.
You must be at least 16 years old and using StoreLenz for a business.
5. The free trial, paying, and cancelling
New accounts get a free trial. It lasts 7 days and does not need a card. The trial has smaller limits than the paid plans; the pricing page says exactly what they are.
After the trial you can choose a paid plan, and whether to pay each month or once for a year. Either way you pay in advance, at the price shown on the pricing page at the time. A year is a single charge, not twelve instalments. Prices are in US dollars and do not include any tax that may be added where you are.
Payments are handled by Paddle. We do not see or keep your card number.
You can cancel at any time from your account. We refund you for the unused part of the period you have already paid for, whether that period is a month or a year.
If we change a price, we will tell you by email at least 30 days before it affects you.
6. What you may not do
Please do not:
- share your account or your keys with people outside your plan, or resell access to StoreLenz
- use StoreLenz to break the law, or to harass, impersonate or defraud anyone
- try to get round the limits of your plan, for example by making extra accounts
- copy the service, take it apart to rebuild it, or use what it produces to train a competing product
- put so much load on StoreLenz that it stops working properly for other people
- use StoreLenz to attack, overload or interfere with anybody else's website
You may use what StoreLenz shows you inside your own business, including in reports you give to your own clients. You may not publish our raw data as a product of its own.
7. Who owns what
We own StoreLenz: the software, the way it works out its estimates, the design and the name. You get permission to use it while you are paying for it, and that permission ends when your account does.
Anything you put into StoreLenz stays yours. We use it only to run the service for you.
8. StoreLenz is not Shopify
StoreLenz is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, authorised by, sponsored by or endorsed by Shopify Inc. "Shopify" is a registered trademark of Shopify Inc. We mention it only to describe the kind of shop StoreLenz works with.
9. If you run a shop and would rather we did not look at it
StoreLenz only reads what your shop publishes to anyone who visits it. If you would still rather we left it alone, write to us at storelenz17@gmail.com from an address at that shop's domain, and tell us the address of the shop.
We will ask you why. If the reason is a fair one, we will stop looking at your shop and remove it from lookups.
10. What we are responsible for
Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have by law that cannot be taken away, and nothing limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Beyond that, and as far as the law allows: we are not responsible for business you lose, profit you do not make, or decisions that turn out badly because of something StoreLenz showed you.
11. Ending the agreement
You can close your account at any time. We can suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if you do not pay, or if we have to for legal reasons. Unless the law stops us, we will tell you why.
When an account closes we delete what it held as soon as we can, and within 30 days at the latest. Ask us before then if you want a copy.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters to you, we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. Carrying on using StoreLenz after that means you accept the new version. The date at the top of this page says when it last changed.
13. Which law applies, and how to reach us
These terms are governed by the law of Portugal. Any dispute about them must first be raised with us by email at info@pintoflow.com, and we will try to resolve it with you directly.
